Ummm what else, got a new mac!

My TiVo is dying on me, hardrive is going bad. i had it 4 years at least so i guess it's not that surprising. So i head to the store to get me a new one and am shocked to see that #1-- it's price has gone up a lot, but i suck it up and buy it anyway because i have a big love for bloopy the lil TV guy and i love the TiVo interface and blah blah, the salesguy assures me that i can transfer my lifetime deal over to the new one. but sure enough i get hime and it wants me to pay for a new subscription because it's the HD model. i am pissed BUT i end up saying grrr ok fine, and THEN, it asks for a cable card, i am like what the heck is that now, i call cable and they wanna charge $50 to come and program some cable card thing. Wow! so at this point i am not sure if i am even gonna keep it or just look into getting a cable DVR. What a bunch of crap right?
